Following are some guidelines that will help make the lending more enjoyable for all:
- Please limit the number of items you ask to borrow to two items at a time.
- There are no late fees associated with borrowing items from the lending library. We do ask, however, that you try to review/read the materials that
you receive by the date shown on your packing slip (usually 60 days from mailing). If you need an extension, please contact us.
- Shipping Charges: Unfortunately, at this time we do not have funding to cover the cost of shipping library items, so the borrower is responsible for
shipping charges. In order to keep the cost of shipping as low as possible, we ship items via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail (whichever
is cheaper), unless the borrower requests a different mailing option.
The Borrower will cover the cost of shipping the materials back to Autism Atlas.
Note: Borrowers in the Pittsburgh Area may be able to negotiate a pick up , thus avoiding shipping charges.
- Borrowers will be charged the replacement value of any lost or damaged materials.
